As we reflect on February’s kickoff meetings, I wanted to take a moment to share some highlights and express our gratitude for your involvement.
Before we reminisce, I want to correct something.
When Greg raised his glass to toast me on the vision of Oak & Stone that evening at dinner, something became abundantly clear – our evolution belongs to all of us, not me.
Each and every one of you played a vital role in shaping Oak & Stone into what it is today. From our advisors to the dedicated teams at Whitten, Flagship, Catanzaro, Diener Money, and our O&S team – Jamie, Ryan, Al, Donovan, Alex, Will, and Lisa – this journey has been a collective effort.
As cliché as it may sound, our mantra “we are better together” rings truer than ever. Each one of you brings something unique to the table, and it’s through collaboration and camaraderie that we truly shine.
Now – let’s talk about kickoff.
Over the years, our kickoff meetings have been primarily focused on disseminating information and new knowledge, but this time around, we aimed for something different. Our goal was simple: come together, collaborate, and most importantly, have some fun.
And boy, did we achieve that! From the moment we kicked off with our team-based survivor challenge, it was evident that we were in for an exhilarating ride. The energy, competitiveness, and sheer “talent” on display were nothing short of inspiring. While the rumors about the “Maryland” team’s victory persist, let’s just say the official confirmation is still pending!
The following day we shined the light on some insightful speakers, diving into market updates, the power of words and psychology, and the future of AI. And let’s not forget the highlight of the weekend – our “extremely serious and well-thought-out” Stonie awards ceremony.
Owning a Stonie, believe it or not – is an investment opportunity even a financial advisor can’t comprehend.
In summary, I hope you all enjoyed yourselves and found value in the experiences shared during our kickoff. Thank you once again for being part of this journey. Here’s to a 2024 filled with growth, success, and many more memorable moments together.
